This Saturday, October 18th at 7:00 PM<\/strong> in the Inside Out Gallery<\/a> Theater is the first screening of A<\/strong> Finger Slip<\/strong><\/em> the Web Series<\/a>. Here’s Teaser #3.<\/a><\/p>\n

A Finger Slip is an ongoing project with many, many people helping out from all over the world.<\/p>\n

My name is Naomi Javor<\/strong>. I’m twenty years old as of September and have wanted to be a film maker – or a creative artist of some kind – all my life. It’s been such an honor to get to start directing at my age, let alone a project I’m so proud of and excited about. But the real shining stars here are the amazing people who are volunteering to let me direct them…<\/p>\n

Jake Burgess<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jake is an incredibly talented videographer and editor. He has been working with me on this project nearly since the very beginning. He is my right hand man, the assistant director, director of photography\u00a0and\u00a0<\/em>the editor of A Finger Slip. \u00a0He also does lots of video work with The Accidentals and other free lance video\/editing work. \u00a0A Finger Slip could never be what it is without him.<\/p>\n

Scott Tompkins<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scott has been the teacher of all of my crew members and is the reason we are at all able to do what we do. He’s helped us meet film makers in Traverse City, taught us about the biz and provided countless resources to help us produce, including much of our film equipment. Scott is the Executive Producer of A Finger Slip the Web Series.<\/p>\n

Sabrina Javor<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sabrina, my sister, is one of the most useful, helpful, multipurpose tools one can have on a set. She is primarily wardrobe master but also guards the props, keeps a watchful eye on set continuity and on top of all that, always has anything you could ever need for incidentals. She’s a keeper and a must-have on every set! Especially if you really need someone to say something sarcastic.<\/p>\n

Lucy Barrett<\/strong> – AKA Pawtal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fifteen at the time she began writing A Finger Slip, this girl is one of the most talented writers I know. Now 17, this silly girl aspires to work in film as well and is living about an hour outside of London. I got to meet her for the first time when Jake and I went to stay with her those couple weeks in April.<\/p>\n

And of course there are countless others. Friends and students pop by set as they please to lend a hand, every one of them helpful and appreciated. My mother, Rose Javor<\/strong>, and Jake’s mother, Heidi Burgess<\/strong> have done craft services for us as needed. A friend of mine, Tony Lanasa<\/strong>, even came from Chicago to help out. Our theme was composed by Conrad Ankers<\/strong>, a young man from England. \u00a0Angelo Pirozek<\/strong> is a very helpful hand on set who is the slate master and Sabrina’s right hand to all of her jobs. Catherine Paolacci<\/strong> and Luke Kelly<\/strong> have worked sound. A girl from Canada knit one of our props and sent it to us, musicians from all over the world have linked me downloads of their music for soundtrack and the list goes on! Everyone who’s helping out is appreciated.<\/p>\n
