On May 25th, Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre will transform Oliver Art Center into the House of Capulet for An Evening in Verona – a 10th anniversary season fundraising event for Northern Michigan\u2019s own professional Shakespeare Company.\u00a0 In an effort to build community and highlight their 2013 Season, LST will treat guests to the music of wandering minstrels, and local food and wine – but the focus will be interactive scenes performed by the company.<\/p>\n

All Capulets are welcome, *Montagues must be masked.
\nNo poison or daggers will be allowed, swords must be checked at the door.<\/p>\n

What:<\/strong> Silent and Live Auctions, including a Walk-on Role During our 2013 Season<\/a>,\u00a0Scenes from LST Past and Present<\/a>\u00a0by Ensemble Members,\u00a0Wandering Minstrels,\u00a0Local Foodie Delights prepared by Jim Barnes and Suz McLaughlin with ingredients provided by\u00a0Birch Point \u00a0Farm<\/a>,\u00a0Echo Bend Farm<\/a>,\u00a0The Ant and The Grasshopper Farm,\u00a0May Farm<\/a>, and\u00a0Ware Farm<\/a>, serving\u00a0Grocer\u2019s Daughter Chocolate<\/a>,\u00a0and wine representing 30 wineries poured by Leelanau Peninsula Vintner\u2019s Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n
