Michigan Movie Makers is open to anyone involved or interested in making movies – writers, producers, directors, actors, models, photographers, painters, musicians, singers, composers, dancers, choreographers, VFX and pyro techs, costumers, make-up artists, stylists, carpenters, fabricators, caterers, investors and even audience members. We are the movie community / industry in Northwestern Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.

This sounds great! I will be working with a new program through the TBAISD- Career Tech Center for Film and New Media. We kick this new program off this summer and are eager to get in this network!

Hello, I plan to be in the area around this time. Would like to learn of what your group is all about. Moved from Elk Rapids area and have been in the filming industry again. Will be holding ribbon cutting ceremony down here for Strait Films LLC, Timothy Strait. Have been professionally mentoring him and acting as his assistant. I have a creative dream team of my own here and we have been involved in script-writing, etc. I personally would like to attend this meeting, for my own good reasons.

Attended the March meeting…super! Had Andrea Clair Maio to my GVSU class “Person and the Profession”…she was a huge hit! The students loved watching her new series. Thanks for being here/there. Soooooo many talented folks in our community….generous, too!
